News report

Serious incidents occurred last Tuesday evening at the Identification Center of Moria (i.e. where we will be working in few days soon). Troubles started around ten when Iraqis and Afghans clashed against each other, on account of the use of toilets and bathrooms. About fifteen inmates were injured, several tents were put on fire and one person stabbed is now in critical conditions. Greek media report the situation to be tense. The center is overcrowded and facilities are inadequate for six thousands people, that are now leaving in a space that was originally supposed to host less than three thousands individuals. Things are probably even more complex than what we expected. We will give you first hand updates once arrived. Thank you very much in advance for your support.
